Infiniti brand name: The first name of the new premium car brand from Nissan sounds like «Nissan Infiniti». However, later it was decided to use only the name «Infiniti» to distinguish this brand as a separate and external appearance.
Creation of the first model: The first Infiniti model was released in 1989 and was called the Q45. It was equipped
with a V8 twin-engine and was a competitor for Lexus and BMW cars in the USA. In the first year of sales, about 25,000 pcs were sold.
